Corona Alpha 7 + Panorama Exporter Max Script

  • Free for commercial use without any limitations, with user-friendly pricing planned for future releases.
  • Easy to use - most scenes can be rendered with default settings, without changing a single parameter! Most new users are able to learn Corona in 1-3 days. And it is a deeply integrated 3ds MAX plugin, not only an exporter.
  • High quality results with no interpolation artifacts or splotches. Only 100% crisp ray-traced shadows and GI. Even biased results are very close to the unbiased reference.
  • Fast rendering with immediate feedback with the progressive rendering. Corona can quickly render complicated scenes with glossy reflections, soft shadows, massive vegetation, etc.
  • Fast development - There is a new major version every few months. Most serious reported bugs are fixed in a matter of days. Users can propose new features, and most of the good suggestions are implemented in the next major release.

Features

Some of the supported features are:
  • Full 3ds MAX integration
  • Cinema 4D and Maya versions in development.
  • Standalone version with a third-party Blender exporter.
  • Unbiased/consistent rendering with path tracing, light tracing, bidirectional path tracing, progressive photon mapping, and Vertex Connection and Merging
  • Biased splotch-free rendering with radiance caches
  • Corona material supporting: diffuse, reflection, refraction, translucency, opacity, bump/normal mapping, displacement, emission, and anisotropy
  • Physical sun & sky, area lights, IES light profiles, and fast geometry lights
  • Physically correct depth of field and motion blur rendering, physical camera and light emission settings
  • Progressive and bucket rendering modes
  • Distributed rendering
  • Built-in simple and fast scattering and proxy plugins, custom texmaps

Rawalanche was so kind to release his scene used for the Corona A4 benchmark in original .max format. It is a small, nice example of complete scene, ready to render with Corona.

You can download it here: http://corona-renderer.com/stuff/sample_scene.zip. You will notice that the render settings are left to defaults except for exposure, as there is really no need to change anything to get nice renders ;).

Licence: Permission is granted to use the scene for personal learning purposes. It is strictly forbidden to sell the scene or any of its parts, or to claim the scene or its renders as own. Name of the original author (Ludvik Koutny) must be attached to any renders of the original or modified scene.

Well, what can I say, it's a Script that exports panoramas ;)  Ondra had the idea, I've just been scripting it.
The script either takes a 360x180° jpg file or grabs the image directly from CoronaVfb and generates 3 or 4 files (depends on your settings). The Html file uses the awesome threejs library http://threejs.org/.

How to use:
- Choose a Name for your panorama
- Set an output path for your panorama files (you can use the browse button)
- Either pick a jpg file (Browse)
- .. or grab the current image from the CoronaVfb
- you can turn off the automatic rotation if you want it static
- you can also turn off the Corona Logo display (but why would you want to do that ;-) )
- now you can use it locally on your machine or upload all the files to your webspace. Paths are all relative, so it's portable.

Revit 2015: Extension & Subscription App

The CIS/2 Import/Export extension gives the ability to transfer a steel Autodesk® Revit® model to CIS/2 file format, compliant with the ISO-10303-21 standard.
Files with a structure description in a CIS/2 format have the *.stp extension.
A CIS/2 data file may contain 3 levels of information, depending on the type of application:
- Structural analysis - analytical model
- Structure element design - drawing model
- Structure detailing - detailing model

Supported Languages:
English, Polish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Portuguese.

Administrative privileges are required for installing or configuring the product.

When the application starts, it recognizes the number of opened projects created in Autodesk® Revit®.
If more than two projects are opened, a dialog displays where you can select two projects to be compared.
Comparing models that were created as a result of copying elements (for example, through the Clipboard) may not lead to good quality results.
Original element identifiers (ID) may be changed in the application, which makes element identification and correct comparison of models impossible.
After selection of two Revit models, the main dialog of the application, used for comparing models, displays.
The detailed comparison can be reviewed by the user and can also be presented in the form of a report.

Supported Languages:
English, Polish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Portuguese

Administrative privileges are required for installing or configuring the product.

Using the Excel® Based Model Generation extension, you can generate Autodesk® Revit® model based on the data defined in a Microsoft Excel sheet.
The environment of the Microsoft Excel sheet enables automating the process of structure definition.
The extension offers 2 methods of defining / modifying a structure model:
- Entering parameters directly in the Microsoft Excel sheet
- Manual definition in the dialogs used for defining parameters of individual structure objects.

Supported Languages:
English, Polish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Portuguese.

Administrative privileges are required for installing or configuring the product.

The Frame generator extension is used for quick defining of simple 3D models of one-bay or multi-bay halls.
It includes the load definition, carrying out calculations, designing steel bars and generating documentation for the calculated structure.
To generate a structure and carry out calculations and the structure elements design, follow the steps below:
- define general parameters of the frame
- define geometric parameters of the frame
- define loads applied to structure
- start analysis and design of a structure

The analysis and the design is performed in the Autodesk® Robot Structural Analysis.

Supported Languages:
English, Polish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Portuguese.

Administrative privileges are required for installing or configuring the product.

The extension enables the definition and generation of axes grids and levels in Autodesk® Revit® projects.
This extension allows generate columns, beams, walls, and footings at grid intersections.
This extension provides the ability to:
- Specify the home position of the generated grid
- When generating radial grids, define an internal radius between the center of the circle and the first grid in which lines may not be drawn
- Exclude some specific characters from the grid numbering

The following grid types are available in the Extension: Cartesian and Cylindrical.

Supported Languages:
English, Polish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Portugal

Administrative privileges are required for installing or configuring the product.

The SDNF - Import/Export extension gives the ability to export and import a steel structure Autodesk® Revit® model to SDNF file format and generate a structure model in Revit Structure
These extensions are supporting SDNF v. 2.0 and v. 3.0 versions and packets:
- Packet 00 - Title Packet
- Packet 10 - Linear Member Packet
- Packet 50 - Grid Packet
- Packet 60 - Arc Member (only v3.0)

Supported Languages:
English, Polish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified, Portuguese

Administrative privileges are required for installing or configuring the product.

Using the Timber Framing tool you can generate timber structure for walls and roofs in Autodesk® Revit® software application.
Timber Framing tool is composed of three extensions: Wall Framing, Rafter Framing and Roof Trusses.

Wall Framing
This extension allows framing selected walls.
The extension imports walls, recognizes openings and presents them in a 2D/3D viewer. Walls can be individually framed with available framing parameters, such as: Connections, Studs, Plates, Blocking, Cripple studs, Headers, Sills.

Rafter Framing
This extension enables the definition and generation of various types of “A” frame roof models.

Roof Trusses
This extension enables the definition of truss system for roof models.
You can define parameters for the following roof structural elements: Wall Plates, Ridge Trusses and Roof Ends.

Supported Languages: English,
Wall framing supports: Polish, French, German, Russian, Japanese, Chinese Simplified and Portuguese.

Administrative privileges are required for installing or configuring the product.
