Plant Factory in Your 3D Application

Plants created using the Plant Factory technology can be exported to any 3D Application using multiple export formats such as FBX, 3DS, OBJ, C4D, LWO, etc. Plants are exported fully rigged, fully textured, with UV maps and displacement, etc. Breeze or wind animated plants can be exported using a fully rigged mesh, or as a cloud of animated vertices (MDD style). Scenario 2. 

I installed V3 and TPF no longer prompts to integrate with Vue 2014.5. No integration with Vue on splash screen. I reinstalled plant factory, no change.

Solve -

Version 3 Patch update will enable Linking The Plant Factory with Vue 2014.5, and Carbon Scatter.

Start The Plant Factory, Click on File, Click on Options, Under General Preferences: Click on Reset Options to Default.

Or, May have to delete The Plant Factory saved Preferences Folder: The Plant Factory Producer

IN FOLDER: [ C:\Users\USERS NAME\AppData\Roaming\e-on software ] ... The Folder will be recreated when you Start The Plant Factory.

The Plant Factory when started will Create Link Files: Vue_TPF.dat and Carbon_Scatter_TPF.dat In Folder: [ C:\ProgramData\e-onsoftware ]

Confirmed, it works like magic with Vue 2014.5-Faint! Splash screen says "LInked with Vue". Inside Vue you can launch advanced editing and it will open Plant Factory (sometimes with graph nodes zoomed out of place, you can fix this with "View-Graph-Zoom entire graph") where you can edit your plants even further, and then just jump back to Vue with "Apply to Vue". This is a glorious moment where the work of the two best guys, KZGfx and Countryboy, conjoin! Thank you, Countryboy, for this release, and everything you did with the e-on package. 

As for the component browser, sometimes it will not show up the component, but you can fix this, usually, by changing the visibility of components in the library. You can do this if you go to "Load component" from the component browser window, and next to the "new collection, lock collection, delete collection" change "show a short selection of the best Cornucopia3D items" to "hide all Cornucopia3D items" or "Show all Cornucopia3D items from selected collection" (after this you need to restart PF, or create a scene/plant). If that doesn't work you can try the fix found here>

Indeed, for those who run on Windows and have the same issue with component which are not visible in the component browser, here something you can try to fix your problem:  You can reset your options by deleting the following folder (hidden folder):  - Win XP: C:/Documents and Settings/[user_name]/Application Data/e-on software/The Plant Factory/  - Win Vista/Seven: C:/Users/[user_name]/AppData/Roaming/e-on software/The Plant Factory/  You have to know that all your options will be reset to the default ones.

How to used Plant Factory inside Vue? follow this steps.

As for the use of the Plant Factory inside Vue, I don't know much about that, except this. We need a specie that was made inside the Plant Factory.Then we can export it as a Vue specie, and load it up inside Vue through "Load Plant specie". 

Once we double click it, edit the object, we get a window that is almost identical to the regular Vue plant editor, just with some nice extras. In the upper right corner there is a new icon in place of the old "Export plant" and it is called "Advanced edition". Once you click on it, The Plant Factory will start up, and will make a temporary plant file for the plant you are working on, and "Apply to Vue" option will become available. Here you can edit it, change the resolution, etc. Notice how the graph is empty. Sometimes this happens, but you can fix this by doing the "View-Graph-Zoom entire graph" thing. Just remember to hit "Apply to Vue" once you are done, or you just want to see the effects in Vue. That is it, for now!  Hope it helps,

Does Vue_TPF.dat and Carbon_Scatter_TPF.dat -- Link Data Files Exist ???????

As to your Question "reinstall vue" ??, only if the Files Exist.

If the 2 Link Data Files are created, and exist then problem may be with xStream 2014.5
xStream reads the data File, and displays Linked with Plant Factory on the Splash Screen Box.

KZGfx's xStream 2014.5 Crack has a few bugs, the serial is good, but the method of attaching to Vue,
and bypassing the Activation is sometimes Squirrely, and doesn't work properly for some folks.

I receive lots of P.M messages asking me to Please do the 2014.5 version, saying KZGfx won't fix his crack.
Due to a Time Shortage, My reply is to Give KZGfx time to fix the bugs.
Hopefully, He will look in the Mirror, see the problem, and fix it.

Follow the Steps above, Delete the Saved Preferences Folder, and Check if the Data Files are created.
