Follow this installation to activate RealFlow: http://vimeo.com/98503852
Note: In my video installation, RealFlow program won't start it says the program need to closed! In proper installation my way of installing the program is correct. But if you experience same problem as mine. All you have to do is uninstall the program and make a clean installation, clean all leftovers folders from previous installers and registry's, directory folders and start again... if the program still got error! Last option is you need to re-install your Windows OS or make a full reset from factory settings. The program won;t work because of some code lingering to your machine. That's it tested and proven it should work just fine.
In case you encounter this kind of scenario follow the video installation to get it fixed.

ISSUES AND ANSWERS:
Issues ==>> I cannot believe no one noticed before, but as i pointed out before, i had a problem with scenes from version 2013 of RF which were opened in version 2014 of RF you posted here. The crack you've made fucks up Hybrido engine in soooo many ways, i spent the last week trying to understand if my scenes have a problem or it's the crack. So i opened 10 scenes which were included with the RF installation, and all of them worked perfectly in RF 2013 , and didn't work in 2014.
First: Hybrido doesn't react to geometry in 90 % of cases, and if the reaction exists, it's like the object is floating in a superviscous fluid.
Second: Hybrido particles randomly explode, making RF crash, stabilizing the engine with more substeps didn't help
Third: Scenes simulate perfectly and particles get velocities in RF 2013, same scenes ( demo scenes included with RF) will do exactly the opposite in RF 2014 cracked by you, the fluid won't move, or will penetrate the ground , which is perfectly solid.
For instance, try to open the Demo scene called Shark , in the Hybrido category, then hit simulate. Do it in both versions, see for yourself.
Some demo scenes which do not contain hybrido fluids - work, those which contain hybrido - sometimes mystically work, sometimes dont ...
Not that i'm not thankful for the job you've done, but RF without Hybrido is in some ways useless for Large scale scenes.
Thanks.

Just a small question ... when I try to export krakatoa PRT's from a hybrido2 sim, the domain can be loaded with any prt capable loader in max, so I can mesh it with Frost and do a particle refinement as PRT Volume add some more particles with Stoke and render it in krakatoa ... but i have problems with the splash and foam particles. Namely, they cannot be loaded as a prt seqence or bin sequence or anything ...
(If I do the same with RF2013, the particles can be loaded without any issue.) They changed the export PRT format (?) in RF2014 so the problem is on the import side in max/krakatoa or is it exports corrupted/encrypted files ? Can anyone please check is it working there ? Thanks |
By the way , that's another problem with the crack, as i explained before. I tried to do the same thing you tried, the PRT loader was not able to read the prt or bin sequences, as if they were corrupted :/. On the other hand, PRT's coming from 2013 were perfectly readable :/

It's a vanilla RLM fix. There are no code logic/flow modifications or any thinking involved. Just a signature change. It's impossible to get any different results from the original, unless you forgot to apply the sig change to all modules involved.
If it's a couple cases with this problem and all others have not encountered it, I'd say it's a user error somewhere.
I assume the 2013 scenes you've tried are fully compatible with 2014 (?).
To avoid having to add to this, check if you have the following modified files installed (besides the license):
RFGUI_x64.dll
mxcommon_64.dll
ai.dll
Careful with the last two.
I use the ai.dll from Arnold standalone. Use the latest cracked one you can find.
mxcommon_64.dll is common (obvious eh?) to all Maxwell products, therefore the risk (applies to ai.dll too).
Make sure when you run Realflow, that it doesn't pick up any of the last two from another folder that happens to come earlier in the %PATH%. That could cause any kind of problems especially if they happen to be older versions.
Good luck.
